Okinawa Civic Hall
We have the largest multi-purpose hall in the prefecture with a seating capacity of 1,545 seats in the great hall and 500 seats in the smaller hall. These halls are utilized by many performing artists, some of which are - traditional arts performances, classical concerts, theater, lectures, ballet, and traditional folk song concerts. With double-walled construction ensuring sound-proof protection from all kinds of outside noises including the Kadena air force base, everyone can quietly listen to the perfomances. Recently there have been joint concerts performed by the Bands of the US Marines and Self Defense Forces, and also art exhibitions provided by the local American school. The American school also holds its graduations exercises here.
