Uehara Shoten

A rest stop where locals gather. The store boasts of its Okinawan menu items and side dishes.

This long-established diner has been in business for more than 50 years and serves popular Okinawan dishes such as boiled tebichi (pig feet) and stir-fried naabeeraa (sponge gourd) with miso. The deli corner is also well-stocked with 20 to 30 different kinds of side dishes. Onigiri (rice balls) and sandwiches are available from 7:00 am. In summer, shaved ice is offered to those who order meals. It is like a local rest stop where locals gather.
