Located on Gate 2 Street in Okinawa City, Ocean is a long-established cafe that has been in business for more than 40 years. The "A-sign" and other period features of the restaurant give it the full "Koza" atmosphere.
The cafe is known for their tacos. The crispy taco shells, spiced meat, and salsa are all original recipes, which have been faithfully handed down from the previous generation. You will often find the shop owner, Yara Yasushi (who is a musician and somewhat of a local celebrity) behind the counter with a guitar in hand.
Whether you are a regular customer, a repeat tourist, or a first-timer, Ocean is the place to go to get a taste of good old Koza and great tacos!
