【Reservations Required】 Waku Waku Zoo Night ＠ Okinawa Zoo & Museum

Waku Waku Zoo Night 2022 will be held on Saturdays, June 4, 11, 18, 25, and July 2 and 9. 

■Date & Time: Every Saturday between June 4 to July 9, 18:30～21:00
■Location: Okinawa Zoo & Museum (meeting point: Animal Center Zoo School)

Capacity: 24 persons (6 groups) per event day (Advance reservations required; maximum of 4 persons per family; if more than 4 persons, applications will be made for two groups.）

This is a popular event which allows a limited number of participants to be guided by zookeepers through the zoo at night when the lights are not on.
Most of the mammals in the zoo are nocturnal. This is a rare chance to learn straight from the zookeepers and closely observe the the unique nighttime behaviors of the animals that are different from what we usually see in the daytime!

【Attention】
・Registration will close when capacity is reached for each day.
・Be at the meeting point on time.
・For cancellations, please call the zoo by 5:00 p.m. the same day.
・Please take your temperature beforehand. If your temperature is 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher, or if you are not feeling well, please refrain from participating.
・Children (under high school age) are not allowed to participate alone.
・Due to poor lighting and footing in some areas, please refrain from wearing sandals, slippers, or children's glow-in-the-dark shoes when participating with strollers or wheelchairs.
・No flashlights or other lights are allowed.
・The event may be canceled or the program may change due to weather or other circumstances on the day of the event.
