We will be holding a "Bat Night" in conjunction with "International Bat Week"!
International Bat Week began in 1997 and is now held in more than 30 countries to promote correct knowledge about bats.
We're sure everyone has many questions about bats, which are familiar animals to Okinawans, such as "Do all bats suck blood?" and "Why are they upside down all the time?"
Let's take this chance to enjoy learning about bats, an animal that lives close to us, through a special guide and workshops on bats in Okinawa!
■Date: August 26, Saturday, 16:00-20:30
■Location: Okinawa Zoo & Museum (5-7-1 Goya, Okinawa City) Indian Elephant House (Ashibina area for herbivores)
