The world's largest international breakdancing competition will be held in Asia for the first time!
December 2 (Fri.) and 3 (Sat.), 2022 at Okinawa Arena!
This year marks the 32nd anniversary of the event, which started in Germany in 1990 and has the world's longest history and the world's largest audience of 10,000 people in the breakdancing world. It is truly the "World Cup" of breakdancing!
The most unique feature of BATTLE OF THE YEAR is that there is a showcase judging before the battles.
[December 2] Teams ranked in the top 8 in the showcase judging will advance to the finals, the "Battle Tournament." [December 3] What could have satisfied only dance fans with battles alone, was made more appealing to a wider audience by adding the entertainment element of a "showcase." This showcase has great international significance because it allows the representatives of each country to fully showcase themselves and their country's specialties.
The first ever World Finals in Asia will be held at Okinawa Arena on Saturday, December 3.
On this day, top teams and top dancers from around the world will gather in Okinawa.
