Livestock have supported human life since ancient times.
In addition to rabbits and guinea pigs, Okinawa Zoo & Museum also focuses on the preservation and promotion of Okinawa's native livestock.
This event will focus on these various animals and will include feeding, quizzes, crafts, guided tours, and other activities to see, touch, hear, and learn about them in a fun and educational environment.

【Contents of the festival】
≪Livestock quiz "Whose buttocks are they?" ≫
Admission: Free
Capacity: 250 people
Time: 9:30 - ends when capacity is reached. Prizes can be exchanged until 16:30.
How to participate: entry forms are available at the reception desk near the Horse area in the Ryukyu Arc area.

≪Craft Workshop≫
① Experience coloring papier-mâché chan (native Okinawan chicken)
The Okinawan chicken, the chan, has several names depending on the color of its feathers. You can color the papier-mâché with your favorite colors using paints.
Participation fee: ¥500
Capacity: 20 people per day

②Making straps with livestock poop!
Participants will make straps using real poop of island goats, sheep, rabbits, and guinea pigs, each coated with resin and made into beads.
Participation fee: ¥300

③Let's make a mini Sheep with real wool
Make a palm-sized sheep doll by rounding up wool from sheep raised at Okinawa Kodomo no Kuni.
Fee: ¥100

≪Livestock Feeding Experience≫
〇 Umanchu area (native Island goats, horses, cattle) Fee: ¥200 Time: 11:00-12:00
〇 Horse feeding experience Fee: ¥200 Time: 14:30-15:30
〇 Petting zoo (Rabbits, guinea pigs, sheep) Fee: ¥100 Time: 14:00-16:00

≪Horseback Riding Experience≫
Participation fee: Course A ¥1,000, Course B ¥500 Time: 15:00-16:00

≪Let's observe, touch and learn!≫
Visitors can observe, touch, and learn about guinea pigs.
Place: Petting zoo area
Hours: ①10:00-10:15、②10:30-10:45、③11:00-11:15
Participation fee: ¥200
Capacity: 4 groups (maximum 5 people per group)
Note: Participants under junior high school age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
