There will be special live performances by artists associated with Okinawa Prefecture such as Kazushi Miyazawa and Awich, a basketball showdown and talk show between basketball-loving comedians Yutaka Tamura and Lion Onishi and basketball YouTuber Sawayan vs. local junior high and high school students, a special dance stage by Gorie, and many other contents!
FIBA BASKETBALL WORLD CUP 2023 - ONE MONTH TO GO FESTIVAL IN OKINAWA -
One month before the World Cup event will be held at Okinawa Arena!

It will soon be one month before the opening of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023. To commemorate this event, "FIBA BASKETBALL WORLD CUP 2023 -ONE MONTH TO GO FESTIVAL IN OKINAWA-" (an event held one month prior to the opening of the World Cup / hosted by Okinawa City) will be held on July 29 (Sat) and 30 (Sun).

Event Time Schedule

There will also be basketball experience activities, cross-cultural exchange content (including a PR booth for countries visiting Okinawa), live events, food and drink booths, a trash pickup game "Pick & Shoot," and an Eisa performance!

①Okinawa City Farmers' Training Center（runs approximately every 30 minutes）
②Okinawa City Hall（runs approximately every 25 minutes）
③Awase Fishing Port（runs approximately every 40 minutes）
29th (Sat) Starts at 9:30 a.m.
30th (Sun) Starts at 11:00 a.m.
★The last bus from Okinawa Arena is scheduled to depart at 21:00.

④AEON MALL Okinawa Rycom（runs approximately every 15 minutes）
29th (Sat) Starts at 10:00 a.m.
30th (Sun) Starts at 11:00 a.m.
★Last service from Okinawa Arena is scheduled at 21:30.

Attention.
There is no parking available on the day of the event. (There is no motorcycle parking either.)
Please do not park illegally or on sidewalks, driveways, or shoulders in the surrounding residential areas.
Parking at the arrival and departure areas is limited, so please use public transportation (buses, taxis, etc.).

*Entry and exit to and from the event location
・The entrance waiting line will be set up according to the number of visitors on the day of the event.
・If the number of visitors exceeds the capacity, numbered tickets may be distributed or entry may be determined by lottery.
・If the number of visitors exceeds the capacity, admission may be restricted.
・Visitors in wheelchairs should ask a staff member for assistance.
・Your baggage may be checked at the admission desk.

・To prevent accidents and confusion, please follow the instructions of the on-site staff. Failure to do so may result in denial of admission or cancellation of the event itself.

・Saving seats is prohibited.
・Please take your garbage home.
・Please do not bring any items that are prohibited by law to the venue.
・No parking will be provided. Please use shuttle buses and public transportation.

*In the event of an earthquake or other disaster the organizer will, at its discretion, prioritize the safety of visitors and, in some cases, temporarily suspend the event.
