［2/16] The 30th Okinawa Marathon 2025 @ Okinawa Comprehensive Athletic Park

The Okinawa Marathon is a Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF)-certified citizen marathon that, along with the Naha Marathon held in December, represents Okinawa Prefecture. The course spans five municipalities in the central region of Okinawa Island: Okinawa City, Uruma City, Kadena, Chatan, and Kitanakagusuku. Notably, the latter half of the course includes Kadena Air Base and U.S. military facilities.

This comprehensive marathon event features JAAF-certified competitive divisions, citizen participation divisions, and a concurrently held 10km road race for high school students and the general public. It aims to enhance athletic performance, promote sports in Okinawa Prefecture, and significantly contribute to economic development in Okinawa and the wider central region, aligned with the prefecture's tourism-focused objectives.
