We will hold a crowing contest featuring the “Chaan,” a native Okinawan chicken breed designated as a Prefectural Natural Monument.
Also known as “Utai-Chan,” Chaans have been raised in Okinawa for the melodic quality of their crows.
With the cooperation of the Okinawa Chaan Preservation Society, a variety of Chaans will gather at Okinawa Zoo & Museum.
