[June 21] Special Yanbaru Kuina Observation Day @ Okinawa Zoo & Museum

As part of the “Yanbaru Kuina Conservation and Breeding Project” implemented by the Ministry of the Environment,
Okinawa Zoo & Museum is engaded in breeding and caring for these rare birds to mitigate risks such as disasters and infectious diseases.
Although the area is normally closed to the public, during the “Special Observation Day,” visitors can learn about the Yanbaru Kuina
and the nature of the Yanbaru region through a fun quiz rally, followed by a unique chance to observe the birds in person.
