FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Volunteer Recruitment Begins
We are looking for volunteer staff to welcome visitors from all over the world with the spirit of Japanese hospitality and Okinawan hospitality along with the convention.
■Application period：April 14 (Fri.) - June 14 (Wed.), 2023*Applications have been closed.
■Number of applicants：5,000 people in total (total number of people for all days / number of activities per day: approximately 500 people)
■Period: August 15, 2023 (Tue) - September 3, 2023 (Applicants can apply from one activity day)
For the Okinawa Group Stage, Friday, August 25, 2023 - Sunday, September 03, 2023
■Location: Various locations in Okinawa Prefecture
Okinawa Arena, Okinawa City Budokan, Okinawa City Gymnasium, Naha Airport, official hotels (Ginowan City, Chatan Town), Fun Zone (Naha City, etc.)
■Activities: Spectator guidance and information at match sites, PR media support, official hotel information desk support, event support at convention fan zones, airport welcome desk support, etc.
■ Application Requirements:
-Anyone interested in sports volunteer work or basketball (no previous volunteer experience required)
-Residents of Japan.
-Aged 18 years or older (as of March 31, 2023. High school students are excluded. High school students can also participate only for group applications).
