FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Training camp Information
At a regular press conference in Okinawa Prefecture, it was announced that Australia, Georgia, and the Republic of Cape Verde, who will participate in the Okinawa group stage, will hold Training camps in Okinawa Prefecture.
Of those countries, the Australian and Georgian representatives will train in Okinawa City.
■Camp Implementation Period
Australia: August 21, 2023 (Mon) -
Georgia: August 18, 2023 (Fri) -
As part of the "Dream Big Okinawa" project, which aims to provide children in Okinawa with the opportunity to "Meet" the world from various perspectives under the mission of "creating opportunities to dream big through the World Cup," a Training camp event is planned. During the camp, there will be opportunities for children to interact with top athletes, including free invitations to practice games between the national teams, basketball clinics where they can receive coaching and advice from the players, and autograph sessions.
