7th Heaven Koza ｜Area: Chuo
The mecca of Okinawan rock.
This live music venue is owned by Ray, son of George Murasaki who is considered the father of Okinawan Rock. Weekend shows feature well-tempered bands of both local and foreign nationals, and you'll also find many non-Japanese customers frequent the place.
The various music genres that can be enjoyed at 7th Heaven include everything from punk, rock, melodic hardcore, and mixtures of Okinawan indies bands, as well as techno, trance, and even hip-hop. Some events feature DJs, as well as rave, acoustic, R&B, and even Okinawan traditional music events.
Up and coming local bands also perform here, making it something of a Mecca for young band fans. There is also karaoke, billiards, and darts to enjoy.
