Tajimaya　｜Area: Chuo

This spacious store has a large variety of merchandise such as bags, wallets and traditional Japanese items that will suit casual to formal occasions. Popular brands in limited edition colors are occasionally featured in the store, particularly in the junior bag collection. Although Tajimaya has six branches specializing in bags, backpacks and leather products around the island, the Okinawa City branch is the only location that sells EM (Effective Microorganism) products that are known to benefit humans and the environment. Since not many stores in Okinawa City sell EM products, Tajimaya is popular among locals and tourists alike. A staff member said it made them happy seeing elderly customers return to their store after they started selling EM products.
