The store sells wholesale to a number of hotels and clothing shops throughout the island, but the retail store in Koza is definitely the place where you can find the best bargains. Despite the low price tags, you can even negotiate for lower prices at Kings. “The low prices are made possible by our direct importing,” says the owner, who has been operating a number of retail shops around Okinawa for over 40 years. Stocking a large selection of denim items in all sizes, including plus size jeans, skinny types, which are popular with Japanese customers, and merchandise for women and kids, Kings is frequented by locals as well as the American crowd. Tropical-theme wrap-around skirts and pareos and kids’ formal dresses are also available.
