Passing through the Takahara Intersection on National Route 329 and heading towards Awase, you’ll soon see the long-standing noodle factory, Awase Soba Co., Ltd., on your left hand side.
The Okinawa soba noodles produced by Awase Soba, which has been manufacturing soba noodles since being founded in 1947, is handmade through a traditional process.
Furthermore, their dried noodles produced through a dehumidification process in their more modern facility are popular among locals and customers outside the prefecture as well.
Also popular in recent years is the “Okinawa Soki Soba (Raw Noodles)” set. The set, which has won various awards such as the Award for Excellence at the Naha Production Exhibit and the Mayor’s Award at the Okinawa City Industry Festival, comes with Okinawa soba noodles, packaged authentic pork spare ribs, and soup mix.
