Pogo Town　｜Area: Chuo

Even being located in an alleyway, it's hard to miss the bright-colored Pogo Town, which opened in June 2014. They constantly have new products coming through, and you’re sure to discover something new every time you visit the store. Inside you’ll find used clothes from Europe and Asia, miscellaneous goods from South America, and other items from abroad. Vintage toys from Japan’s Showa era (1926-1989), products by Japanese designers and creators, CDs and various other goods line the store.
The store owner, Mr. Tamanaha, is active as a designer and member of a punk band. The office of his design label is also located inside the store.
Mr. Tamanaha wanted to create a store, like a theme park, with constantly new items that’ll make customers jump up and down with excitement as if jumping on a pogo stick, hence the name “Pogo Town.”
Pogo Town wants you to drop by, even if it’s just to chat with the friendly staff. You just may discover something exciting while you’re at it!
