Kinu-no-Ie

Kinu-no-Ie is a minyo bar run by Kotoku Tsuha, a pioneer musician of traditional Okinawan folk music and head of the Okinawa Minyo Hozonkai (Okinawa minyo preservation society).
You’ll feel right at home in Kinu-no-Ie surrounded by the gentle lighting and various Asian antiques. They have many repeat customers and is especially popular with groups from mainland Japan. The dishes made by the lady of the house with fresh fish caught that day is also said to be popular among customers.
In addition, minyo classes lead by Mr. Tsuha himself are provided on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
