Ongaku Mura　｜Area: Chuo

Ongaku Mura is a museum located inside Okinawa City’s Ichibangai. The items exhibited are valuable historical items related to Okinawa’s rich music history, and is complete with old photographs and records of those who have had an immense influence on Okinawa’s music scene. You can even listen to EP and SP records that are rare to be able to listen to today.
From masterpieces by historical greats who supported Okinawa’s music culture after the war, to the sounds of up-and-coming young musicians, you can enjoy a variety of genres including folk, jazz, and rock music.
