Ongakumura (Okinawa Music Museum)
A space to trace the roots of Okinawan music and feel the history of Okinawan music with your senses.
Ongakumura exhibits materials on Okinawan artists from various genres such as Okinawan folk music, rock, jazz, folk, and pop music.
The museum has a large collection of various materials including not only listening materials, but also videos, posters, pamphlets, and goods.
Visitors can learn about the history of music that has been cultivated in Okinawa since its postwar period, and make new discoveries of those days.
The great history of Okinawan music is spread out in a small space.
