Goyah-So |Area: Goya

A tiled-roof, chimpin, and sanshin…this is the Okinawa you've been looking for!

Goyah-so is a traditional Okinawan house converted into a hostel. It’s no resort hotel, but if you want to experience and enjoy local culture, Goyah-So is where you want to stay. For breakfast, you won’t be served the typical toast, but instead you’ll wake up to “chimpin,” delicious Okinawan-style crepe. Discover what Okinawa is like with an activity in the afternoon, then come back and share the night with fellow travelers while you drink awamori under the moonlight and listen to sanshin played by the owner. There are plenty of local activities to experience, from making wooden sanshin to mingling with the locals at the public bath nearby. You can also rent out Goyah-So for parties.
