Nakanomachi

At present this has become a haven for local drinkers. Before Okinawa was returned to Japan, there used to be many stores with their "A Stickers" and American servicemen would frequent these stores nightly. However, even now, you can still feel the special atmosphere that these places still have. From Gate Street, if you go down a sidestreet, you can find yourself in an enchanting relaxing social atmosphere surrounded by nostalgia.
