Nakanomachi Youth Association
Appearing many times in the Eisa Contest, bold karate moves immediately distinguished this group from the pack and formed the basis of their thunderous dance performance. More recently they have customized their music tempo and their footwork, bringing new moves to the dance. They were the first of the Okinawa City Youth Associations to incorporate the folk song “Umi Yakara” into their performance.
