Yamauchi Youth Association
This group are known for using rare tunes such as “Tanchatiru,” “Timatu,” and “Hanagasa” in their Eisa performance. Changing tempo several times during the same song, their powerful large taiko and roped taiko drumming are especially outstanding. The elegant had dance of the women and the well-timed breathing during the sanshin playing are a must-see.
